Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or shells)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce Choose a brand you love or make your own.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Use freshly grated for better melting.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once it’s done, drain and set it aside.
  • In the same pot, mix the shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce. Let it get all cozy in the pot for a moment.
  • Mix in the cream cheese and milk, along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
  • Fold in the cooked pasta, ensuring it’s well coated in that spicy sauce mixture.
  • Add the cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until it’s all melted and creamy.
  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality cheese for better melt and flavor, and adjust spice levels to your preference. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of milk to regain creaminess.
