Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it is softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red pepper, diced
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder Can add more for extra flavor.
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder Can add more for extra flavor.

Coating & Decoration

  • 1 cup crushed nuts or pretzels For coating the cheese balls.
  • Olives or chocolate chips For eyes and buttons.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, green onion, red pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the cheese mixture into two balls, one larger for the body and one smaller for the head.
  • Roll the cheese balls in crushed nuts or pretzels to coat them.
  • Assemble the snowman by stacking the smaller ball on top of the larger one.
  • Use olives or chocolate chips to decorate the snowman’s face and buttons.

Serving

  • Serve with a variety of crackers, veggies, or sliced bread.

Notes

Make ahead for convenience; store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze the cheese ball before coating it; wrap tightly in plastic wrap and foil.
