Preparation

  • Slice the zucchinis into half-moon shapes with slices about ¼ inch thick.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until bubbly but not browned.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Toss in the sliced zucchini, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly golden.
  • Serve warm, optionally as a topping for pasta or in wraps.

Notes

Keep the pan hot to achieve a nice sear on the zucchini and avoid overcooking. Consider adding a splash of lemon juice at the end for added brightness.
