  • 1 box Strawberry Jello (3 ounce size)
  • 1 box Orange Jello (3 ounce size)
  • 1 box Pineapple Jello (3 ounce size)
  • 1 box Lime Jello (3 ounce size)
  • 1 box Berry Blue Jello (3 ounce size)
  • 1 box Grape Jello (3 ounce size)

Liquid Ingredients

  • 9 cups water (divided)
  • 3 cups vodka (divided) Use a neutral, mid-priced vodka for best results.

Garnishes

  • 1 pack Rainbow Berry Airheads For garnish
  • 1 container Cool Whip For garnish

  • 16 pieces 3 ounce jello shot cups Clear plastic preferred to showcase layers.
  • 1 piece baking sheet For stable chilling

Preparation

  • Arrange 16 clear plastic 3-ounce shot glasses in neat rows on a rimmed baking sheet.

Layering Jello

  • Step 1: Boil 1 cup of water, stir in the grape Jello powder until dissolved, mix in 1/2 cup vodka and 1/2 cup cold water. Pour into cups and chill until mostly firm, about 1.5 hours.
  • Step 2: Repeat process for each color, starting with Berry Blue and moving through Lime, Pineapple, Orange, and finally Strawberry, chilling for 1.5 hours between each layer.

Final Steps

  • Once the final layer is poured, chill the entire tray for another 1.5 hours to set completely.
  • Garnish each shot with a dollop of Cool Whip and a strip of cut Rainbow Berry Airheads just before serving.

Notes

Store assembled shots covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freezing is not recommended. For variations, consider swapping vodka with rum for sweetness or fruit juice for a non-alcoholic version.
