  • 3 cups Rice cereal Use plain puffed rice or crisp rice cereal.
  • 2 cups Pretzels Sticks or mini twists; choose sturdier ones for a satisfying crunch.
  • 1 cup Peanuts Use dry-roasted unsalted peanuts for best results.
  • 12 ounces White chocolate Real white chocolate melts smoothly; can substitute with milk or dark chocolate.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, gently toss together the rice cereal, pretzels, and peanuts until evenly distributed.
  • Place the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20–30 second bursts, stirring between each, until melted.
  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal mixture and fold gently with a spatula until coated.
  • Transfer the coated mixture to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread into a single layer.
  • Let the mixture cool completely until the chocolate is firm, then break into bite-sized clusters.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Can freeze for up to 3 months.
