  • 8 oz block of feta cheese, drained from brine
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
  • 1-2 Tbsp honey (plus more, to serve) Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or 2 tsp fresh thyme) Fresh thyme is optional
  • Black pepper (freshly cracked) To taste
  • Chopped walnuts (optional; raw or toasted) For garnish
  • Crusty, toasted bread (like sourdough or baguette) For serving
  • Crackers For serving

Preparation

  • Make whipped feta by adding the feta cheese and Greek yogurt to a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down with a spatula as needed.
  • Add pumpkin puree, honey, thyme, and black pepper. Blend again until combined.
  • Transfer to the fridge to chill for 30-60 minutes.
  • Serve in a large bowl, garnished with chopped walnuts, fresh thyme, extra honey, and more pepper.
  • Enjoy with crusty bread or crackers.

Notes

For a smoother texture, ensure your feta is properly blended. Adjust the honey based on your taste preferences. Experiment with different herbs like oregano or rosemary for a twist. This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
