Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 piece boneless chuck roast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rub the chuck roast with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  • Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it.

Cooking

  • Roast in the oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired level of doneness.
  • Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Let the roast sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer for doneness; aim for 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare. The roast should rest after cooking to retain juiciness. Try different herbs or spices for a personalized flavor.
