  • Arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Cooking

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches a bubbling boil.
  • Pour the caramel evenly over the crackers, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot mixture. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the chips melt.
  • Carefully spread the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
  • Finish by sprinkling with sea salt.
  • Allow to cool completely before breaking it into delightful pieces.

Notes
