  • 1 oz mango puree Use good-quality puree or fresh mango blended until silky.
  • 1 oz lime juice Use freshly squeezed lime juice for best flavor.
  • 1 oz triple sec Cointreau is a classic choice for brightness.

  • 1 slice mango For garnish.
  • 1 wedge lime For garnish.

Preparation

  • Add 2 oz tequila, 1 oz mango puree, 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice, and 1 oz triple sec into a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill the shaker halfway with ice, seal it, and shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds until the outside feels cold.
  • Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice and strain the chilled mixture over the ice using a fine strainer.
  • Garnish with a fresh mango slice and a lime wedge on the rim.
  • Serve and encourage guests to squeeze their lime wedge for extra flavor.

Notes

Chill all ingredients before mixing for a better texture. Use fresh lime juice only. Control sweetness by tasting the mango puree.
