  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise For creaminess.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use aged cheddar for stronger flavor.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Crispy bacon is ideal.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Add for freshness.

Preparation

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until they are tender. Allow them to cool, then peel and cube.

Making the Dressing

  • In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper until creamy.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cubed potatoes, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions to the dressing. Mix gently until coated.

Adjust Seasoning

  • Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or pepper to your preference.

Chilling the Salad

  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving to meld flavors.
