Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until it’s fully browned, breaking it apart with a spatula for even cooking.
  • Once the beef is nicely browned, stir in the soy sauce and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve the seasoned beef over the cooked rice.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds for that extra touch.

Notes

Best served warm. Pair with Korean pickled vegetables or a simple side salad for a balanced meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
