Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye) Any preferred cut can be used.
  • 2 cups cooked rice (jasmine or short-grain) Recommended for texture.

Marinade Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)

Spicy Cream Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Toppings

  • 2 green onions, sliced For garnish.
  • 1 cup cucumbers, sliced Fresh and crisp.
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • Sesame seeds For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and gochujang in a bowl. Add the steak, marinating for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Grill or pan-sear the marinated steak to your preferred doneness. Let it rest before slicing.
  • Mix mayonnaise, gochujang, and sugar for the spicy cream sauce.

Assembly

  • In serving bowls, layer rice, sliced steak, green onions, julienned carrots, and cucumbers.
  • Drizzle with spicy cream sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days. Reheat steak and rice in the microwave with water to maintain moisture. You can also freeze marinated steak for up to 3 months.
