For the pinwheels

  • 4 large large flour tortillas (10-inch) Use large tortillas for easy rolling.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Full-fat recommended for better texture.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • 8 oz sliced turkey breast Thin-sliced deli turkey preferred.
  • 6 slices provolone cheese Use for savory flavor.
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced Jarred for convenience or freshly roasted.
  • 1 cup fresh spinach Adds freshness and color.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste For seasoning.

Preparation

  • Add the softened cream cheese to a mixing bowl and stir in the Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper and mix until smooth.
  • Lay each tortilla flat and spread an even layer of the seasoned cream cheese over the entire surface.
  • On top of the cream cheese, arrange turkey slices in a single layer, then add provolone slices and scatter roasted red peppers and spinach leaves evenly.
  • Starting at one edge, roll the tortilla tightly toward the other side, tucking the edge under as you finish.
  • Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Unwrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels using a sharp chef’s knife.

Notes

Chill for a minimum of 30 minutes before slicing for best results. Store sliced pinwheels in an airtight container and consume within 3 days.
