  • Fresh corn on the cob
  • Plastic wrap or aluminum foil
  • Freezer bags

Instructions
 

  • Husk and clean the corn, removing any silks.
  • Decide whether to freeze whole ears or halved.
  • If blanching, boil corn for 3 minutes, then shock in ice water.
  • Pat the corn dry.
  • Wrap each ear tightly in plastic wrap or foil.
  • Place wrapped corn in a freezer bag, removing as much air as possible.
  • Label the bag with the date before storing it in the freezer.

Notes
