Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds Can use your favorite sausage
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter Melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely minced For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or apply a light coating of nonstick spray.
  • Arrange the sliced sausage, diced sweet potatoes, and broccoli florets in an even layer on the prepared sheet pan.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. After it has melted, add in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Let this mixture simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour the honey garlic glaze evenly over the sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Toss the mixture to ensure everything is coated.

Cooking

  • Place the sheet pan in the oven and roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through. You'll know it's done when the sweet potatoes are fork-tender, and the sausage is beautifully browned.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly minced parsley before serving.
