Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free blend
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or applesauce for dairy-free
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Peel and chop the apples into real chunks, not too tiny.
  • In a bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon) separately from wet ingredients (Greek yogurt).
  • Fold the apples and optional extras into the mixture gently.
  • Scoop mounds of the batter onto parchment paper, ensuring they’re thick.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and place the fritters inside without overcrowding.
  • Cook until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes, checking halfway through.
  • Allow to cool slightly and drizzle with glaze, if desired. Enjoy warm!

Notes

For extra sweetness, dust with cinnamon sugar while warm. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for 2 minutes for best results.
