Ingredients
  

For the drink

  • 12 ounces green non-alcoholic malt beverage (or regular non-alcoholic malt beverage with green food coloring) Choose a chilled, store-bought green non-alcoholic malt beverage or tint a standard non-alcoholic malt with food coloring.
  • 1 ounce Irish vanilla extract Use a small, measured ounce — too much will overpower the malt.
  • 0.5 ounces Irish cream liqueur (can use non-alcoholic Irish cream) This small amount creates the creamy cap and gives the drink a dessert-like finish.
  • as needed Green sprinkles (optional) For garnish.
  • as needed Whipped cream (optional) A dollop adds visual height and extra richness.

Preparation

  • Pour the green non-alcoholic malt beverage into a chilled glass, filling about three-quarters full. Pour down the side to preserve carbonation.
  • Gently float the Irish vanilla extract on top by pouring over the back of a spoon.
  • Carefully layer the Irish cream liqueur on top of the vanilla extract using the same spoon technique.
  • Optionally, pipe or spoon a small mound of whipped cream onto the cream cap and sprinkle tiny green sprinkles over it.

Notes

Keep everything very cold for best results. Use a tall, narrow glass for the most dramatic visual effect. Chilled ingredients help layers remain separate.
