Ingredients
  

  • 35 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 10 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Eye candies for decorating
  • Candy corn for decorating
  • Reese’s pieces for decorating
  • Halloween sprinkles for decorating

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltines in neat rows.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
  • Boil for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Carefully pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the saltines, spreading it with a rubber spatula.
  • Bake in the oven for 4-5 minutes until browned and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for 5 minutes to soften, then spread evenly across the saltines.
  • Decorate with eye candies, Halloween sprinkles, Reese’s pieces, and candy corn.
  • Place the tray in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours until the chocolate hardens.
  • Once set, break into pieces and serve. Store any leftovers in a Ziploc bag in the freezer.

Notes

Watch the butter and sugar mixture closely while boiling to prevent burning. You can personalize your Halloween Crack with different types of candies.
