  • 2 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts Can substitute with thighs for more flavor.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh or frozen can be used.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced) Use fresh garlic for better flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or low-fat alternative.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Start by seasoning the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Grill the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until it’s cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  • While the chicken is grilling, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assembly

  • Once the chicken is grilled, slice it and assemble your bowls with the sautéed broccoli and a generous drizzle of the creamy garlic sauce.

Notes

Ensure your grill is preheated to get the best grill marks. If short on time, consider marinating the chicken earlier for more flavor. This dish is perfect for leftovers, store in an airtight container.
