Frosted Christmas Brownies
Frosted Christmas Brownies are a festive treat perfect for holiday gatherings, combining delicious brownies with colorful frosting and decorations for a fun activity.
Ingredients
Brownie Base
- 2 boxes Boxes of Brownie Mix, or a double batch of homemade brownies You can use your favorite homemade brownie recipe if preferred.
Frosting
- 1 jar White Frosting
- 1-3 jars Edible Gel Food Coloring (alternative no artificial dye food coloring)
Decorations
- 1 pack Edible Gold Stars
- 1 pack White Pearl Sprinkles
- 1 pack Icing Bags
- 1 set Frosting Tips (large star – 1M)
Instructions
Baking
- Preheat the oven according to your brownie box instructions and spray a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
- Mix both brownie mixes together and pour the batter into the springform pan.
- Bake the brownies following the packaging instructions, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked and cooled, remove the brownie from the springform pan, place it on a cutting board, and cut it into 8 triangles.
Decorating
- In one small bowl, mix white frosting with red food coloring. In another small bowl, mix white frosting with green food coloring.
- Place the red, green, and plain white frostings into individual icing bags fitted with your preferred decorating tips.
- Decorate the brownies: Use green frosting, white pearl sprinkles, and edible gold stars for the Christmas Tree Brownies. Use red and white frosting for Santa Hat Brownies.
Serving
- Serve your Frosted Christmas Brownies during holiday parties or gatherings. Arrange them on a festive platter or individually wrap them as holiday gifts.
Notes
Make sure your brownies are completely cool before decorating to prevent frosting from melting. Use a spatula or knife to smooth the frosting for a cleaner look. If you have extra frosting, store it in the fridge for another baking project.
