Ingredients
  

  • - 1 can crescent roll dough
  • - 2 medium apples peeled and diced
  • - 2 tbsp butter
  • - 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • - 1 tsp cinnamon
  • - ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • - ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • - Vegetable oil for frying
  •  

Optional glaze:

  • - ½ cup powdered sugar
  • - 1 tbsp milk
  • - ¼ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • 1. Melt butter in a skillet. Add apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla. Cook until soft. Let cool.
  • 2. Roll out crescent dough. Add filling to each triangle. Fold and seal with fork.
  • 3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry pies 1–2 min per side until golden.
  • 4. Drain on paper towels. Drizzle with glaze or dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Swap apples with pears or use air fryer for a lighter option.
