  • 8 ounces Pasta (any type) Shapes with grooves hold sauce better.
  • 1 pound Chicken breast, diced Use firm chicken breast; substitute thighs for more richness.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust amount based on preference.
  • 1 cup Spicy tomato sauce Choose a sauce with balanced heat.
  • 1/2 cup Cream (heavy cream or half-and-half) For a richer sauce, use heavy cream.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Freshly grated for best results.
  • 1 teaspoon Spices: paprika, red pepper flakes Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper To taste.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil (optional, for garnish) For garnish, adds aroma.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of the cooking water.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30–60 seconds.
  • Add diced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in spicy tomato sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add cream and stir to combine. Simmer briefly.
  • Toss in cooked pasta and mix well, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  • Season with spices, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.

Notes

Storage: Cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Can freeze for up to 2 months.
