Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up the brown bits from the pan. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and dried Italian herbs. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce; cook for about 2 minutes to warm through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with pasta, rice, or vegetables.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave.
