  • 4 cups Mixed Greens Combination of arugula and butter lettuce
  • 1 cup Feta Cheese Crumble before adding
  • ½ cup Chopped Walnuts Can substitute with toasted pecans
  • ½ cup Dried Cranberries Or substitute with any dried fruit

Dressing Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Use high-quality oil
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar Can substitute with lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey Adjust according to apple sweetness
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste

Preparation

  • Start by washing and thinly slicing your Honeycrisp apples. Toss them into a large mixing bowl with the mixed greens.
  • Crumble your feta cheese over the top of the greens and apples.
  • Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and dried cranberries generously over the salad.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour this dressing over the salad.
  • Carefully toss everything together until the ingredients are evenly coated. Serve immediately or chill for 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Use fresh, crisp apples for the best crunch. Toast nuts briefly to enhance their flavor. Assemble just before serving to prevent sogginess.
