  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk/half-n-half
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet and brown the chicken on both sides until golden crust forms.
  • Add diced onion and garlic around the chicken and stir to prevent burning.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then add uncooked rice.
  • Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes or until rice is plump and sauce is creamy.
  • Stir and add shredded cheese if desired. Garnish with herbs or green onion before serving.
