Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine it with the garlic and oils left in the pan.
  • Add the parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating each piece generously in the creamy sauce.
  • Allow the dish to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Make ahead and store leftovers properly to retain flavor. Adjust the thickness of the sauce as needed.
