Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 pieces Fresh lobster tails Opt for fresh ones with a mild ocean scent.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Can substitute with a plant-based alternative for dairy-free option.
  • 3 cloves Fresh garlic Minced for the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed for optimal flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh herbs (parsley or chives) For garnish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Using kitchen shears, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell.

Making Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven’s broiler. Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture. Place the tails on a baking sheet and broil for about 10 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven, drizzle with any remaining garlic butter, and sprinkle fresh herbs on top before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. To freeze, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and foil to prevent freezer burn. Reheat gently to ensure the lobster doesn’t overcook.
