  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and set the oven rack to the middle position.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Sear the chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until golden-brown.
  • Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top of each breast.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from oven and let the chicken rest for 3–5 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use even-sized breasts for consistent cooking and temper the cream cheese to avoid lumps. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
