  • 1 cup fresh cranberries Use fresh for the best glaze.
  • 1 orange (zested and juiced)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Season the turkey breast with salt and pepper.
  • In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the turkey breast and place it in a roasting pan.
  • Pour the cranberry-orange glaze over the turkey.

Cooking

  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra glaze.

Notes

For more flavor, consider marinating the turkey breast in the orange juice overnight. If the glaze is too thick, you can add a little more water to reach your desired consistency.
