Ingredients

Biscuit Base

  • 1 can refrigerated canned biscuits Consider using cinnamon roll dough for a fluffier option.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Feel free to swap in margarine or a dairy-free butter.

Flavoring

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon Try pumpkin pie spice for a twist!
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Using brown sugar adds a caramel-like depth.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until uniformly mixed.

Biscuit Preparation

  • Open the canned biscuits and slice each one into quarters or tear by hand.
  • Melt the butter in a shallow bowl. Toss the biscuit pieces in the melted butter briefly to coat all sides.
  • Roll the butter-coated pieces in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat evenly.

Baking

  • Arrange the coated bites on the prepared baking sheet with a little space between them.
  • Bake for 10–14 minutes, rotating once halfway through until golden-brown on edges.

Serving

  • Allow the bites to cool for 3–5 minutes on the baking sheet then transfer to a serving platter.

Notes

For optimal results, ensure even baking by cutting dough pieces the same size and avoiding overcrowding the baking sheet.
