Ingredients
  

Pizza Base

  • 1 pizza dough Use store-bought to save time.

Sauce and Cheese

  • 1 cup pizza sauce Store-bought is fine.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Generously sprinkle on top.

Toppings

  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped For tree branches.
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped For tree decorations.
  • 1/2 cup sliced olives Add as ornaments.
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices Optional; can omit for vegetarian.
  • 1 egg For egg wash.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a triangular shape to resemble a Christmas tree.
  • Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce.

Decoration

  • Use the chopped green bell pepper to create branches on the tree.
  • Decorate the tree with red bell pepper, olives, and pepperoni to look like ornaments.
  • Brush the edges of the dough with the egg wash for a golden finish.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm, cut into slices or let everyone pull off their pieces. It pairs nicely with a side salad or festive drinks. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
