Ingredients
  

For the chocolate cups

  • 1 cup Melted milk chocolate Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.
  • 12 pieces Disposable cups Ensure they are suitable for holding warm chocolate.
  • 6 pieces Candy canes Can also use other flavored sticks.

For the filling and toppings

  • 2 teaspoons Cocoa powder Add into each chocolate cup.
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows Can use more for topping as desired.
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar For decorating the cups.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slowly melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave on low power.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into the disposable cups.
  • Swirl each cup so the chocolate spreads evenly around the sides.
  • Let the chocolate set, then repeat this process to make the chocolate cups thicker and more stable.
  • Carefully remove the chocolate from the cups once it has cooled.
  • Pour more melted chocolate into the cups and place the candy canes inside.
  • Allow the chocolate to dry completely.

Assembly

  • Add 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder into each chocolate cup.
  • Top with mini marshmallows.
  • Drizzle a little melted chocolate over the marshmallows to help them stick.
  • Decorate everything with more melted chocolate and granulated sugar.
  • Dip the cups back into the chocolate for an extra touch.

Serving

  • To make hot chocolate, place one of the cups in hot milk, wait a bit, and stir well.

Notes

Store leftover chocolate cups in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For variations, use dark or white chocolate and different toppings.
