Preparation

  • Mince the garlic and ginger, and slice the cabbage into thin strips for even cooking.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet; cook for 5-7 minutes until it’s browned and cooked through.
  • Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Toss in the sliced cabbage; cook for 3-4 minutes until it’s slightly wilted but still crunchy.
  • Pour in the soy sauce; mix well, letting the flavors mingle for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry before serving and top with chopped green onions.

Notes

Serve over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa. Can pair with steamed dumplings or cucumber salad. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to three days.
