Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 medium Potatoes Russet or Yukon Gold, cut into equal-sized pieces
  • 14-16 oz Smoked Sausage any variety
  • 1-2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream optional
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, sliced sausage, ranch seasoning, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Add melted butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil, top with remaining cheddar cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
