Preparation

  • Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving a 1/4-inch border.
  • Evenly sprinkle the chopped tomatoes across the cheese.
  • Distribute the chopped fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
  • Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the dish in a back-and-forth motion.
  • Serve immediately with pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Consider using a rustic wooden board for presentation and add a sprinkle of sea salt or additional fresh basil for a gourmet touch. Pair with white wine or herbal iced tea.
