Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Use 80/20 ground beef for the best balance of flavor and moisture.
  • 4 slices American cheese This cheese melts well, but cheddar is a good substitute.
  • 12 pieces slider buns (preferably sesame) Use fresh bakery-style buns for better texture.
  • 1/4 cup Big Mac sauce Or a mix of mayo, ketchup, mustard, and sweet relish.
  • 1/4 cup diced onions These will soften when cooked with the beef.
  • 1/4 cup pickles Adds crunch and flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season the beef while cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 lb of ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook until fully browned, breaking it up with a spatula for even cooking.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet, then fold in 1/4 cup diced onions and cook until softened.

Assembly

  • Place the bottom halves of the 12 slider buns in a baking dish.
  • Spread a little Big Mac sauce on each bottom bun before adding the beef evenly.
  • Lay the 4 slices of American cheese over the beef and scatter with pickles and additional sauce.
  • Top with the bun crowns and optionally brush with melted butter.

Baking

  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10–15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil for the last 1–2 minutes for a slightly crisped top.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, allow sliders to chill before baking. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, assemble but do not bake, then wrap tightly.
