  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Evenly cut for uniform cooking
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Can use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs Such as oregano or basil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Olive oil spray Used for crisping the chicken

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and lightly coat them with olive oil spray.
  • Press each chicken breast into the Parmesan mixture until they are completely coated.
  • Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Cooking

  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken turns golden brown and is thoroughly cooked.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For an elegant touch, serve on arugula with balsamic glaze, or pair with side dishes like roasted vegetables or pasta.
