Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes washed and scrubbed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Various optional toppings butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits

Instructions
 

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
  • Dry the potatoes with a clean towel.
  • Using a fork, poke several holes in each potato (about 6-8 times).
  • In a bowl, mix together olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
  • Brush or spray this mixture generously over the potatoes.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
  • Cook the potatoes for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check if they’re done by inserting a knife or fork into the thickest part; it should slide in easily.
  • Once fully cooked, remove the potatoes and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the baked potatoes with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, brush a little more oil before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
