Description
Deliciously marinated chicken thighs baked to perfection with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–6 pieces Chicken Thighs (bone-in, skin on for flavor)
- 1/3 cup Honey (use pure honey for best flavor)
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (low-sodium option is good)
- 4 cloves Minced Garlic (fresh is best, but garlic powder works)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (for greasing the dish)
- 1 teaspoon Optional Ginger (grated, for extra zing)
Instructions
- Marinate chicken thighs in a bowl or zip bag with honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil for at least 30 minutes (overnight is better).
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place chicken thighs skin-side up in a greased baking dish.
- Pour leftover marinade over the chicken.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until juices run clear.
- For crispy skin, broil for the last 3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Spoon sauce over chicken before serving.
Notes
Substituting boneless chicken thighs or using maple syrup for honey can work. Enjoy with rice or roasted veggies.
