- 35 saltine crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 10 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Eye candies for decorating
- Candy corn for decorating
- Reese’s pieces for decorating
- Halloween sprinkles for decorating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltines in neat rows.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
- Boil for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Carefully pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the saltines, spreading it with a rubber spatula.
- Bake in the oven for 4-5 minutes until browned and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for 5 minutes to soften, then spread evenly across the saltines.
- Decorate with eye candies, Halloween sprinkles, Reese’s pieces, and candy corn.
- Place the tray in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours until the chocolate hardens.
- Once set, break into pieces and serve. Store any leftovers in a Ziploc bag in the freezer.
Notes
