Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium-sized russet potatoes, washed and scrubbed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Various optional toppings (butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits)
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
- Dry the potatoes with a clean towel.
- Using a fork, poke several holes in each potato (about 6-8 times).
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Brush or spray this mixture generously over the potatoes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Cook the potatoes for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check if they’re done by inserting a knife or fork into the thickest part; it should slide in easily.
- Once fully cooked, remove the potatoes and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the baked potatoes with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, brush a little more oil before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
