Description

Quick and easy air fryer baked potatoes with crispy skin and fluffy inside, customizable with various toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes, washed and scrubbed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Various optional toppings (butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits)

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
  2. Dry the potatoes with a clean towel.
  3. Using a fork, poke several holes in each potato (about 6-8 times).
  4. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
  5. Brush or spray this mixture generously over the potatoes.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  7. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
  8. Cook the potatoes for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Check if they’re done by inserting a knife or fork into the thickest part; it should slide in easily.
  10. Once fully cooked, remove the potatoes and let them rest for a few minutes.
  11. Serve the baked potatoes with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, brush a little more oil before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
